It’s so hard to find a quick vegan dessert that will satisfy you sugar cravings, requires minimal ingredients and doesn’t turn your kitchen upside down! Oh and one that is tasty too of course! Good news! This recipe ticks all those boxes.
This is a quick, nutritious snack for kids ( and mums) on the go. Ready in only 15 minutes. Rich in protein, magnesium, potassium, vitamins and antioxidants.
Cacao and peanut butter banana bakes
Ingredients
3 ripe organic bananas
2 tbs of organic peanut butter or preferred nut butter, almond also works well
1/2tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp organic raw cacao
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbs organic plain flour
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 190c
2. Mash 2 banana’s in a bowl, add peanut butter, flour, vanilla extract, cocoa powder and baking powder
3. Line 20×20 baking tin with grease proof paper or grease with vegan butter.
4. Add mix to tin and top with 1 sliced banana
5. Sprinkle with Cacao powder
6. Bake for 12-15 mins
Allow to cool before serving. Can be kept int the fridge in air tight container for upto 3 days.
